About Alexis
Alexis concentrates her practice on real estate, business transactions, complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation.
Alexis regularly represents trustees, creditors, lenders, investors, and distressed asset purchasers in all phases of litigation and general corporate matters. She has extensive experience at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal court, and routinely handles complex cases involving securities fraud, fraudulent transfers and preference actions, and shareholder and partnership disputes.
She also provides representation in connection with a wide variety of commercial transactions involving the acquisition, disposition and financing of real estate. Alexis is also an approved title agent of First American Title Insurance Company and Attorneys’ Title Fund Services.
She has significant experience in joint ventures, capital investments, due diligence, risk assessment, interim and permanent financing (recourse and non-recourse), and real estate related dispute resolution, as well as corporate governance and securities matters.
Prior to forming her own law firm, Alexis served as outside counsel for several financial institutions assisting with their bankruptcy, collections and REO work.
Alexis is from West Palm Beach, Florida. She earned a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in English Literature, with honors, from Florida State University in 2008. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2011.
In her free time, Alexis enjoys golfing, fencing épée and watching football.
